This FREE event, sponsored by the Folk Heritage Association of Macon County, begins at approximately 9am and ends around 4pm in downtown Franklin, NC. Over 100 talented demonstrators will be proudly displaying heritage skills and a way of life from the turn of the century. See the live hands-on demonstrations and exhibits featuring quilting, wood carving, basket making, fly tying, tatting, shingle splitting, spinning, weaving, moon-shining and many other offerings connected to our cultural, environmental and natural heritage. Of course there will also be lots of food, games and contests plus much more!
This is one of the best spring festivals in Franklin so do not miss out. Bring the family and enjoy a fun-filled and educational day!
