At 4118’ Highlands, NC is a popular destination for hiking, shopping, and enjoying the scenery. Temperatures that are ten degrees cooler than the “flatlands” helps.

A trip to the mountains wouldn’t be complete without attending a craft fair for mountain-made art and crafts. You’ll have that chance June 20th and 21st at the Village Square Art & Craft Show.

The FREE event is from 10 to 5 in the newly renovated Kelsey-Hutchinson Park at Pine and 5th St. It features fine art, folk art, and high quality hand-made crafts, such as rustic furniture and frames, birdhouses, candles/soaps, metalwork, jewelry, pottery, and more. Plenty of good food and music too.
