The Macon County Art Association is a non-profit organization committed to promoting the visual arts and developing artists of all ages and skill level within the community and local region. 
The Uptown Gallery located on Main Street in downtown Franklin, NC. It is a cooperative art gallery promoted and sponsored by the Macon County Art Association.
Our members help enrich the community through art education, by offering such opportunities as workshops, classes, lectures and scholarships. We encourage and welcome the public to attend any meetings, programs, classes or events.
