The Local Scoop

The Old Siler Farm Disc Golf Course is great for the entire family, and offers multiple tee's that makes disc golf enjoyable for any experience level.
The course was made possible by tons of volunteer work and some corporate sponsorships in the early developemental days. Currently, the course has been under a minor redesign of the hole layouts.  With the changes came two newly developed or "proposed holes", multiple tee & hole readjustments, as well as two tees for each hole (long & short).  Great additions made possible by a lot of hard work on behalf of the Franklin Disc Golf Club, as well as others.

The Local Directions

In Franklin, NC find Siler Road from either, U.S. Hwy 441 North (turn right, between Three Eagles Outfitters & Kerr Drug), or, from the new Siler Road extentsion via the Franklin bypass - U.S. Hwy 441/23/64, just East of Franklin (turn right, towards Walmart & Dowdle Mountain Road, taking the first right within the roundabout).  
From either way, find signs for Southwestern Community College/Macon County Library and instead of entering at the college/library entrance, continue to bear left, accessing a gravel road on your right.  At the top of the hill is parking and the Old Siler Farm Disc Golf sign.
