The Local Scoop

Suli Marsh (Pronounced "Sue Lee") can be accessed via "Riverview Drive" that connects Depot Street in downtown Franklin to N.C. Hwy 28, just North of town. Acceess the Greenway via a boardwalk over the marshy area that was constructed from hard work performed by local volunteers. This section of the Greenway is very picturesque and follows very closely to the riverbank. It is also a very flat and paved section of the Greenway, ideal for those pushing a stroller, etc.
Suli Marsh connects to "Big Bear Park" via "Morris Trace" and runs along the Little Tennessee River for one mile.  There are benches located along the riverbank for your convenience. We recommend using this section for a number of reasons.  Running, walking, strolling, fishing, riding bikes, walking your dog, etc. are all possible here.
