One of the best summer concert series in the area, for both visitors and locals alike, is at the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center in Stecoah (Robbinsville), NC. An Appalachian Evening offers an ever changing schedule of bluegrass, folk and old-time mountain music by award-winning artists. The Saturday evening shows provide quality entertainment for the entire family and the historic Stecoah auditorium will bring back memories of community gatherings in days gone by.
Make an entire night of it and enjoy an Appalachian Dinner before the show. Complete dinners are served family style at two seatings, 5:30pm and 6:30pm, in the Stecoah dining room. Dinner features the down-home goodness of traditional Southern Appalachian mountain cuisine, using the freshest local produce available. Reservation are required for dinner.
*If you want to eat or have snacks but not participate in the Appalachian Dinner, the Schoolhouse Cafe is open during concerts through intermission.
